Quick Update

So we finally heard from Geico--WooHoo!!! The car is most likely totaled. They are getting a rental car for us and applying the other person's deductible towards our claim. I'm not usre I understood it all, but long story short is what we get is the Kelly blue book for the car and a rental until we can replace the car. The guy said they couldn't assign a fault, but looking at thing's Kevin's side of the story was stronger than the other person's. And he promised our premium wouldn't change. All sorts of reasons were given as to why it took so long, the police report was not very detailed, couldn't get hold of the witness. Needless to say I am not sharing the couch with Mrs. Butterworth anytime soon.

On another note, I took Noah to the doctor the other day for frequent stomach aches. He had to "pee in a cup" giggle, giggle. (Just in case that needs clarifying--that was Noah's reaction). Everything checked out normal and we had to go down to X-ray to make sure it's all clear. Now we are awaiting results on that and keeping a "poop calendar" (Noah's words again). The joys of parenthood. If the result come back clear, I get to start him on Pepcid AC and see if that helps. There is also the possibility that it's just chronic tummy aches--as the doctor said, it's a bit nebulous, but very common. Kind of like growing pains. Not a real satisfactory choice in my book. And he goes to the allergist on Monday--hopefully they will be able to answer some questions and tell us how much wheat we can have in his diet.

The "pee in a cup" didn't need clarifying, but the Mrs. Butterworth did. Pancakes, syrup, car accident... I'm too slow to follow this.

Bummer about the tummy-aches and poop calendar and wheat-free existence and all. Maybe I'll stop complaining over here!
